HALL Wines creates critically-acclaimed artisan Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley.

Tasting Notes

In 2005, Craig and Kathryn Hall unveiled a state-of-the-art winery amid the legendary Sacrashe Vineyard in the hills of Rutherford that is dedicated to making single vineyard and limited-production wines. HALL’s estate vineyards encompass more than five hundred acres of classic Bordeaux varietals; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. As winegrowers, the Halls have a strong respect for the environment and a commitment to cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. Through meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards, HALL wines are able to express the unique and diverse character of Napa Valley’s soils and climate.

This wine incorporates choice fruit from vineyards throughout Napa Valley. The blending of fruit from the various vineyards creates a rich panorama on the palate – a landscape of complexity and character that clearly depicts Napa Valley. This wine has an alluring deep garnet colour. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, sweet herbs and complex spices. This is quite a smooth Cabernet Sauvignon with a palate of blackberry, cinnamon, cocoa along with soft tannins. An exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon with opulent mouthfeel to it. This wine would pair well with short ribs or a quality steak.
