With such wholesome and hearty ingredients, this Ground Beef Stroganoff hits the spot. With lean ground beef and fresh mushrooms in a rich, silky sauce over broad egg noodles.
Brown the lean ground beef in a pan, along with the onion and garlic. Drain fat.
Add sliced mushrooms and cook 2-3 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for an additional minute.
Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions.
Remove beef mixture from the heat, stir in sour cream and parsley.
Serve over freshly cooked egg noodles. Add a dollop of sour cream if desired. Salt and pepper to taste.
