Maple & Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Not a fan of Brussels sprouts? This recipe will change your mind! Bacon and maple syrup make these Brussels sprouts absolutely irresistible. A tasty side dish to accompany any weeknight dinner.

 1 lb Brussels Sprouts (trimmed)
 ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
 3 tbsp Canadian Maple Syrup
 4 Bacon (slices, diced into 1/2 inch pieces)
 ½ tsp Salt
 ¼ tsp Ground Black Pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400F degrees.

Place Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking dish. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and Canadian maple syrup; toss to coat. Sprinkle with bacon; season with salt and black pepper.

Roast in the preheated oven until bacon is crispy and Brussels sprouts are caramelized, about 45 minutes. Stir halfway through.

Plating

Remove from oven when cooked through. A drizzle of balsamic will jazz this dish up even more. Enjoy!
